You Are Not Alone

Veterans from all eras are reacting to the events in Afghanistan – the U.S. withdrawal and the take over by the Taliban.

Are You Feeling Any of The Following:

YOU ARE NOT ALONE

Veterans, like myself, ask the meaning of our services, or whether it was worth the sacrifices we made. The price we all paid is incomprehensible and incalculable. At this moment, it may seem like all is lost, like your service or your sacrifices were for nothing. Consider the ways that your service made a difference, the impact it had on others’ lives or on your own life. I encourage you to reach out to your battle buddies, friends and family to find comfort, support, and comradery. I also encourage you to reach out to mental health services.
